Turkcell and Google Cloud will create a large cloud region consisting of data centers in Türkiye. Within the scope of the agreement, a total investment of 3 billion dollars is expected to be made in Türkiye.

A $1 billion (approximately 42.37 billion TL) agreement was signed between Turkcell and Google Cloud for local cloud infrastructure.

Google Cloud EMEA Southern Region Vice President Anthony Cirot announced that the total investment to be made in Türkiye is 3 billion dollars.

Türkiye in Google Cloud’s Global Network
The center to be established will be one of Google Cloud’s 42 hyperscale data centers in the world. Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian announced that the cloud region in Türkiye will include accelerated processing power, high-performance storage, network infrastructure and cyber security tools.
Economic Impact
The investment is expected to create economic value of at least 5 billion dollars (approximately 211.2 billion TL) by 2032.
