The Sarma Stream bridge, which connects many rural neighborhoods in Manisa's Şehzadeler district and collapsed due to heavy rain, will be rebuilt by Manisa Metropolitan Municipality. Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Ali Öztozlu, accompanied by Road Construction Maintenance and Repair Department Head Kurtuluş Kuruçay, Mukhtar Affairs Department Head Onur Pabuçcuoğlu and Neighborhood Headmen, inspected the bridge, where the work will start in a short time. While Öztozlu informed the neighborhood headmen about the work to be done, he exchanged views on the project with the relevant department heads.
PROJECT WORKS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED
Giving information about the works that will be carried out feverishly, Kurtuluş Kuruçay, Head of the Road Construction, Maintenance and Repair Department, said, “We are on the group road, which provides access to our neighborhoods in Yunusemre and Şehzadeler districts and which we can define as the main route road. Our bridge was destroyed during the heavy rains on this road in the past few days. With the instructions of our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, Mr. Cengiz Ergün, we have completed our project work for the urgent construction of the bridge and the reopening of traffic in this region. We will complete the reinforced concrete works at this point as soon as possible. "We will work diligently to open our bridge, which currently allows only one vehicle to pass, to the service of our citizens, with a width of 10 meters and a length of 30 meters, where two vehicles can pass each other at the same time and which can be used by our pedestrians," he said.

Çınarlıkuyu Neighborhood Headman Murat Bardak, who expressed his satisfaction that the bridge, whose project work has been completed, will be built in a short time, said, “Our Sarma Stream bridge collapsed due to excessive rains. Thanks to our President Cengiz, he intervened in a short time. Inspections are being carried out to build our bridge as soon as possible. "We thank our Metropolitan Mayor very much," he said.
Çamköy Neighborhood Headman Kadir Çelik said, “Our bridge connecting many of our neighborhoods to each other was destroyed in heavy rains. "I would like to thank our Metropolitan Mayor Cengiz Ergün, who made great efforts for its reconstruction," he said.
Sarma Neighborhood Headman Ramazan Şenli said, “I would like to thank our Metropolitan Mayor Mr. Cengiz Ergün. Our very useful bridge, which was destroyed due to the flood, will be rebuilt in a short time. "I would like to thank everyone who contributed," he said.
