18 Female Artists '8. Color is at AKM with Women and Traces' Exhibition

8 female artists from 18 different disciplines, from painting to sculpture, from photography to digital arts, are meeting with art lovers at AKM Gallery until April 2 with their works that reconsider female identity.

Atatürk Cultural Center welcomes 8 March International Women's Day with a special exhibition selection featuring the works of 18 women artists, each more valuable than the other. '8. Color Women and Traces” exhibition brings art lovers together with works from 8 different disciplines, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, textile weaving, collage, miniature and installation art.

Woman '8. In the exhibition, which depicts women as 'color', the woman's revealing her existence in the world, her story and cultural accumulation, expressing her spirit and observations about the universe in a powerful way, despite the roles assigned to her in society, are scrutinized with different materials and techniques. In the group exhibition, Aslışah Erdem, Aysun Bozuklu, Ayşe Wilson, Ayşegül Yapar, Cansu Sönmez, Derya Geylani Vuruşan, Eda Çığırlı, Eda Taşlı, Elsa Ers, Gözde Can Köroğlu, Günnur Özsoy, Günseli Kato, Kadriye İnal, Melis Buyruk, Sevim Kaya, Sinem There are works by Demirci, Yasemin Öztürk and Yonca Karakaş.

AKM Gallery can be visited free of charge “8. Color Women and Traces” exhibition is open to visitors until 2 April.
