Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, which works hard to create container cities and install portable toilets and showers in Hatay to heal the wounds of the earthquake, on the other hand, makes a superhuman effort in the distribution of aids coming to the city by land and air. While a factory in Antakya Furniture Specialized Industrial Site (MOBSAN) is transformed into an aid distribution base, the aid that comes here with trucks is delivered to the regions in need with vehicles provided by philanthropists, especially trucks belonging to Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and its subsidiaries.
Especially in recent days, with the increasing demand for drinking water, water distribution has been emphasized. Working day and night to ensure that not even a single earthquake survivor is left without water, the teams delivered 10 trucks of water that arrived at the distribution center yesterday to the areas in need in one day. In the water distributions made under the coordination of Hatay Governorship, 7 trucks of water were distributed to tent cities and container cities. The remaining 3 trucks of water were delivered to the earthquake victims in the Harbiye, Açıkdere, Narlıca, Serinyol, Yukarı Ekinci, Demirköprü, Ekinci, Çekmece, Akçurun Bitiren, Alattin, Paşaköy and Maden Boyu neighborhoods by the Metropolitan Municipality teams. The amount of water delivered to the earthquake victims in Hatay in one day reached 95 liters.
