CHP İzmir Deputy Kani Beko thanked those who came to commemorate and understand the mother of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The important thing is to be buried in the hearts of millions like Zübeyde Hanım, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his friends.

CHP İzmir Deputy Kamil Okyay Sındır said, “He talks about two great works of our great leader. 'Someone says CHP', but primarily 'Republic of Turkey'. The greatest work of Zübeyde Anne is Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. I am grateful to Atatürk and all our martyrs and veterans for bestowing this republic on us.” CHP İzmir Deputy Tacettin Bayır also said that they are grateful to Ms. Zübeyde for giving birth to the greatest revolutionary that these lands have raised. Bayır said, “We are grateful to him for being able to live, dress and speak freely here for his struggle on Anatolian soil. Even if the rulers of our country try to erase the name of the great revolutionary that our mother Zubeyde gave birth to, they will never be able to remove it from the hearts and minds of 85 million. They will never be able to make us forget them," he said.
Karşıyaka Child Mayor Yiğit Efe Ümütlü recited the poem "Zübeyde Anne".
The ceremony ended with carnations left on Zübeyde Hanım's grave.
