In this context, EA's CEO stated that the locomotive, which runs on battery energy and is manufactured in China with the world's most advanced technology, meets Thailand's requirements both in terms of cost reduction, energy saving and emission reduction.
According to CRRC Dalian, this battery-powered locomotive was designed and manufactured by China, taking into account Thailand's original conditions for passenger and freight transport. The six-axle locomotive can pull a 2-ton freight train at 500 kilometers per hour or a thousand-ton passenger train at 70 kilometers per hour.
