Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality City Theater opened the curtain with the play “The Legend of the Fifth Season”. The play, directed by Nihat Alpteki and Arda Alpkıray and written by Devrim Pınar Gürbüzoğlu, was screened for the first time at the Onat Kutlar Theater Hall.
The Legend of the Fifth Season, in which Aylin Karaçay, Deniz Biber, Aslı Hür, Burçin Yel, Okan Has and Barış Çağla took part, lasted 60 minutes. Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin also watched the play, which received great acclaim from the audience.
President Şahin, who watched the play with great interest, stated in his speech that they are constantly working for the further development of Gaziantep in the field of culture and art, and said, “The City Theater has a very special place for me in this sense. More important works will be undertaken in the name of culture and art," he said.
At the end of the game, President Fatma Şahin presented flowers to those who contributed to the game and took photos in memory of the day.
THE SUBJECT OF “THE LEGEND OF THE FIFTH SEASON”
In an untimely time, in a drought in a fertile valley, babies die as they are born, and the two sons of a sick ruler are at enmity with each other to take over his father's office. This struggle that emerged between these two brothers is accompanied by a hunchbacked and beautiful voiced woman who later came to the valley. Both brothers fall in love with this woman in a short time. This emotional stalemate determines the fate of the two brothers and the valley at the end of the story.
