Afyonkarahisar will be the meeting point of Rahvan Horse Racers

Afyonkarahisar Municipality continues to work on the Rahvan Horse Track project, which will provide the opportunity to host pacing horse racers from many provinces of Turkey.

Work continues on the project, which will be the meeting point of pacing horse racers, one of the traditional sports branches, in the sports city of Afyonkarahisar. Our President, Mehmet Zeybek, made an inspection tour of the investment project he promised. Our Vice President Benol Kaplan, Science Affairs Manager Onur Sadioğlu and Zeybek President, who saw the work on site with the technical team, made an inspection.

Expressing that they continue to implement the projects they promised, our President said in his statement; “During the elections, we met with the Rahvan Horse Riders. They had a demand. “We do not have an area where races can be held professionally and adequately, can you help us, Mr. President? Can you build a pacing horse track in Afyon?” "I hope so," I said. At the moment, the work continues rapidly. We will complete the works in a short time and turn it into a place where all ancestral sports can be done. We said that Afyon is a sports city, after we complete it, we will bring a different branch of sports to Afyon," he said.

LIKE AS WE PROMISSED

Rahvan Horse Track, one of the prestige projects of our President Mehmet Zeybek, will host events such as the Traditional Rahvan Horse Races and horse archery shows. The facility, which Zeybek President promised during the elections and started to be built in Ertuğrulgazi Neighborhood, is aimed to be completed in a short time.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The runway has a parcel area of ​​600.754,64 square meters. The facility, which includes a 6 meter indoor area, 670 r-n53304 hippodrome track and a car park, will allow ancestral sports to be done.

It consists of 37 boxes, tribunes for 564 people, shelter and care areas for horses, trainer horse training area, warm-up running track, blacksmith's shop, staff room, equipment/haystack room, cafeteria and parking lot.
