Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç brought together the Seljuk monument Sultan Han in Bünyan with KAYTUR services within 20 days and brought it to tourism.

Metropolitan Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç, who spoke at the historical inn and stated that they will make the Sultan Han and the region a popular destination for tourists, and that they will do what is necessary in this regard, said, “We are in the region known as the Sultan Han Caravanserai of our Kayseri, which is really a Seljuk city. Here, in cooperation with our governor and KAYTUR, in order to bring together a huge surviving artifact, which makes us feel the breath of the Seljuks, both as a neighborhood and on the Silk Road route, and to give them the opportunity to know, both the arrangement and promotion of this place. , lighting, environmental order, meeting the demands of our neighborhood were carried out.

By creating a destination with the Sultan Han, Karatay Han and then the Şahruh Bridge, and creating a tourism focus here, benefiting from the view of our Salt Lake, it will be a frequent destination for our citizens, fellow citizens, our brothers in Turkey and tourists from abroad. Hopefully, we will do our part in this regard," he said.

Büyükkılıç underlined that they will make this place more livable without making any excuses, and said:

“This place will be more livable without making any excuses for both security cameras and the arrangements to be made on your roads, if any, about other requests, it will be a frequent destination for everyone and at the same time, it will be used within the logic of a resting facility on the route of Sivas road, and when weddings are needed, social events will be held. We share here that we will show our will to bring this place to a position and situation where it will be held, concerts will be held, in short, whatever comes to your mind, where everyone will wonder and say, 'I will go and see'. I say."

Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek, who spoke about the opening of the Sultan Inn to tourism, emphasized that today is a special day and that President Büyükkılıç made the Sultan Inn suitable for tourism in a period of 15-20 days, and said:

“Today is really a special day for both this Sultan Inn village and Bünyan. Let me tell you frankly, it's been 3 months since I was appointed, our mayor brought me here twice. Therefore, it was not just for sightseeing, visiting purposes, let's go have fun or something. When we arrived last 15-20 days ago, our Metropolitan Mayor made a promise to our Mayor of Özkan. He said, 'I will open this place for operation as a Metropolitan. Here, people can drink tea, coffee, talk, sit, sohbet can. Then I will make this region a tourism zone.' The truth is, in 15-20 days, in a month, I didn't expect this to happen. Because invisible things were done beyond the visible. Kitchens had to be installed inside, a lot of electricity, many systems had to be changed here.”

Mayor Büyükkılıç called out to the people of the neighborhood within the scope of giving an opportunity to sell local products, “We are giving blank checks here, bring your products and market them here. It is my duty to buy the remaining products. We give opportunity to local products”.

President Büyükkılıç and Governor Çiçek, who cooked flatbread and pancakes at the Sultan Han and offered them to the visitors, also came together with the musicians in the historical inn and gave a mini concert to the residents of the region. Mayor Büyükkılıç sang the 'Gesi Bağları' folk song, while Governor Gökmen Çiçek and Talas Mayor Mustafa Yalçın recited poetry.
