Metropolitan Municipality Voted Against the Decision

The Metropolitan Municipality voted "against" the Preservation Board Decision so that no work should be done here. In the evaluation made by the Metropolitan Municipality, although it was stated in the 658st Degree Archaeological Sites section of the 1 numbered principle decision of the High Council for the Protection of Cultural Heritage (Conditions for the Protection and Use of Archaeological Sites) that "no excavations can be carried out except for scientific excavations", it is stated that in the 1st degree archaeological site for the determination of the archaeological potential.
