Republican People's Party (CHP) Kocaeli Deputy Tahsin Tarhan called for expropriation for Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, Northern Ring Motorway, Osmangazi Bridge and Gebze-Orhangazi-Izmir Motorway and Eurasia Tunnel.
The bridges, tunnels and highways, which are made with the build-operate-transfer model and cause millions of lira from the safe of the Treasury due to the transition guarantee, are becoming more and more a burden for the state every day.
For Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, 2019 billion 3 million liras was paid in 50, and for Osmangazi Bridge, 2016 billion 2019 million liras were paid between 3-799.

Unfortunately, there is no system that can be operated for the benefit of build-operate-transfer. We are constantly hurting. The state should nationalize these roads and bridges and buy them all. We will reduce the prices and start making profits when the passes increase, at least we will get rid of the burden of paying for vehicles that do not exceed. Public damage is caused on all bridges. Billions of lira are paid for the transition guarantee on all these bridges and highways. A bridge could be made with the money paid for the pass guarantee.
