The lion's share in transportation

The lion's share in transportation was again the highest amount of the investments of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, with the 6 billion 960 million pounds and the railway transportation.
According to the reviews made by the AA correspondent from the 2015 Investment Program, the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications ranked first with a budget of 2015 billion 14 million 500 thousand lira in public investments to be made in 534.
The highest share in transportation investments was the rail transport with 6 billion 960 million liras.
4 billion 873 million pounds to the General Directorate of TCDD for rail transport, 2 billion 87 million liras investment budget for the other railway projects to be performed by the Ministry was foreseen.
3 billion 276 thousand thousand pounds will be allocated to the 992 billion 3 billion 222 million 642 thousand pounds, the General Directorate of Highways, 54 million 200 thousand pounds, the Ministry and the General Directorate of Security will use.
All of the 581 million pounds investment for motorways will be made by the General Directorate of Highways.
Urban transportation projects will not slow down
This year, urban transport investments will not slow down. Following the rail and road transportation, the largest investment budget was allocated for urban transportation. The ministry will spend 1 billion 736 million 842 a thousand pounds this year for the investments in question.
2015 million 637 thousand liras will be spent in 500 for airline transportation investments. While the highest investment amount was allocated to the General Directorate of State Airports Authority with 449 million lira in airline transportation, 130 million lira was allocated to the Ministry, 54 million lira to the General Directorate of Meteorology, and 4 million 500 thousand lira to the General Directorate of Civil Aviation.
In the investment program, 510 million pounds of investment foreseen for the maritime transport, 357 million pounds department of the Ministry, 77 million pounds part of the TCDD 71 million 500 thousand pounds part of the Coast Guard Headquarters and 4 million 500 thousand pounds part of the Turkey Maritime Organization to carry out the General Directorate.
The investment amount of 556 million pounds determined for the pipeline will be used by 550 million pounds BOTAŞ and the remaining part will be used by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.
In the communication, total 242 million 200 thousand pounds investment, 144 million pounds to the Ministry, 95 million pounds TRT General Directorate, 3 million 200 thousand pounds were allocated to the Directorate General of Press and Information.
