The Reliability of Chinese Vaccines Can't Be Covered With Any Lies

The loosening of China's anti-epidemic policy in recent days has been welcomed by most of the world's countries. However, some US politicians and journalists are trying to reset China's efforts to combat the epidemic by targeting China's Covid-19 vaccines during this period and are helping to sell their country's pharmaceutical companies.

Are China's vaccines good or bad? Only science can answer this question. China is currently the only country in the world to have a variety of technology-based Covid-19 vaccines. A total of 4 vaccines based on 13 different technologies have been approved in China. Meanwhile, inactive technology is a mature and robust kind of technology adopted by the world. Scientific research and practice have confirmed that Chinese vaccines are effective in preventing severe cases and deaths, as well as disease, in accordance with the World Health Organization's vaccine criteria.

Perhaps such a question can be asked: Why didn't many developed countries explore inactivated vaccines in the early days? Because inactivated vaccine technology is not easy to implement. This technology can be applied in large production units built with a high level of biological safety, where the Covid-19 virus can be grown and purified in a short time. For this reason, both high cost and long time are needed. But by taking advantage of its own systematic advantages, China has found an effective way for the international community to work on fighting the epidemic. Especially affordable Chinese vaccines can be stored and transported at temperatures between 2 °C and 8 °C. This made it easier for developing countries to provide vaccines.

In terms of safety, Chinese vaccines have thoroughly proven their quality. The two-dose vaccination rate in China amounted to 92.9 percent of the population. The vaccination rate for those aged 60 and over has exceeded 90 percent. Participating in the COVID-19 Vaccines Global Access Program (COVAX), China has provided 120 billion 2 million vaccines to 200 countries and international organizations. So far, no vaccine-related safety issues have been identified in countries using Chinese vaccines.

The World Health Organization has included 3 Chinese vaccines in the list of emergency use. More than 100 countries have approved Chinese vaccines. Leaders of more than 30 countries, including Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Chile, have had the Chinese vaccines. Many countries have allowed the Chinese vaccine as the only vaccine available to young children. The international community has given a vote of confidence in Chinese vaccines. This truth cannot be covered with any lies.

The vaccine is a sharp weapon to combat the epidemic, as opposed to being the political tool of some Americans. The quality of the vaccine depends on the effect, not the country in which it was made.
