23 April Festival at Konya Science Center

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Konya Science Center hosted the April 23 Children's Festival and turned the weekend into a colorful and fun atmosphere for children.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that Turkey's first and largest TÜBİTAK-supported science center, which was brought to the city by the Metropolitan Municipality, has successfully continued its mission of making people of all ages love science since the day it was opened.

Stating that April 23 is celebrated as children's day and is a scene of great excitement every year, Mayor Altay said, “We have prepared a special program at our Konya Science Center to offer an unforgettable experience to our children within the scope of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day. This weekend, our children spent the weekend with the entertaining scientific activities we prepared, while having fun, they also became involved with science. Our aim is to ensure that our children have fun while stimulating their scientific curiosity and sense of discovery through such activities. "I would like to thank our children and their families who participated in our events and congratulate all our children on April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day," he said.

The children, who had a weekend full of scientific activities, expressed that they were very happy and thanked Konya Metropolitan Municipality.

In the 23 April Children's Festival program at Konya Science Center, where visitors of all ages can participate; Workshops, activities, competitions, entertaining science shows and surprise balloon shows were organized, ensuring that visitors participating in the events had a fun and educational time throughout the weekend.
