Walking events with the theme "We Walk in Konya" organized by Konya Metropolitan Municipality continue to bring nature lovers together with the natural beauties of the city.
Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that the activities initiated within the scope of the Sports Konya Project to contribute to healthy living were greatly appreciated by nature lovers.
Stating that the events held every year offer a unique opportunity for those who want to discover the natural beauties in Konya's wide geography, Mayor Altay said, “Our event, where nature lovers go on a pleasant journey away from the stress of the city, continues to grow every year. Participants experience the peace of being in touch with nature while collecting unforgettable memories with Konya's rich natural heritage, walking routes and breathtaking views. "I invite all nature lovers to see the natural beauties of Konya," he said.
The "We Walk in Konya" themed nature walk event, initiated by Konya Metropolitan Municipality within the scope of the Sports Konya Project, was held for the first time in the spring season on the Bozkır Çağlayan route last weekend.
Nature lovers who participated in the walk expressed their wishes that these beautiful events would continue and thanked Konya Metropolitan Municipality.
Nature lovers will explore the natural beauties on the routes of Derebucak Çamlık on April 28, Kilistra on May 5 and Hadim Yalınçevre on May 12 within the scope of the "Walking in Konya" events.
