While TEI has been the leading name in Turkey in the maintenance, repair and engineering activities of military engines in a wide portfolio for years, it continues its work by increasing its recognition and reliability in the international arena. TEI has expanded its long-standing cooperation with the main engine manufacturer GE Aerospace in the maintenance of the F16 engines that power F15 and F110 aircraft, to also provide service support to the F110 engines in the global fleet. Within the scope of the agreement signed with GE Aerospace at the Paris Air Show held in 2023, TEI gained the right to carry out maintenance, repair and overhaul for the F110 engines in the Oman and Singapore fleets.
In the first month of 2024; With the devoted contributions of TEI employees, maintenance, repair and technology upgrade operations of an F110-GE-129 engine belonging to the Oman Air Force were carried out. The engine converted into F110-GE-129D was shipped to the customer ready for flight. This study, which has a special importance as it is the first Oman Air Force engine whose maintenance activities have been completed by TEI, will also be a guide for the Singapore Air Force F110-GE-129C engines, whose maintenance, repair and revision are planned. TEI, an important player in global aviation, will continue its work without slowing down.
