Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Did Not Allow Its Workers to Be Oppressed in the Face of Inflation

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality signed an additional protocol with DİSK Genel-İş Muğla branch no. 4 for its 108 thousand 2 personnel. In order to prevent its employees from being victimized due to the economic conditions of the country since the beginning of the year, the Metropolitan Municipality signed an additional protocol with DİSK Genel-İş Muğla branch no. 2.

According to the protocol, Metropolitan employees were given a raise of 17,56 percent. With the new raise, 4 percent of the 108 thousand 10 personnel will receive a salary between 29 thousand and 30 thousand TL, and 90 percent will receive a salary between 30 thousand and 39 thousand TL.

In Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, the minimum worker salary, which was 2023 thousand 17 TL in 439, was increased by 2024 thousand 11 TL as of 563, rising to 29 thousand 2 TL. The highest worker salary in the Metropolitan Municipality, which was 2023 thousand 24 TL in 298, became 2024 thousand 14 TL with an increase of 928 thousand 39 TL as of 227.

DİSK Genel-İş Muğla Branch 2 President Yücel Avcı said, “As of January 1, 2024, our employees were given a raise of 52.16 percent. Due to the economic conditions of the country, many products have increased.
