Malatya, Adıyaman and MaraşIt was that bad. They were not disasters that could be expressed in words. We suffered all the pain as a state and a nation. All of Turkey rushed to the disaster area. We created 2 warehouses in Hatay. We cooperated with the Regional Directorate of Forestry, adopted their warehouse and established a kitchen there. We established 10 kitchens in total, but our kitchen in Antakya worked for 90 days. We sent aid from donors in Bursa to those warehouses. We then enabled the citizens there to produce the hot food themselves. earthquake victimWhen they started producing their own food, we started to provide food aid to them. We provide cash support both as a branch and as our headquarters. We help those who have a profession and market their products. The Red Crescent still helps in providing psychological support and educating the children there. Red Crescent supporters have a saying: 'Everyone leaves, the Red Crescent remains.'
