Mehmet Altın, who resigned from the Central District Chairmanship he held last year while being one of the leading names in the structuring of the Independent Turkey Party in Bilecik since 2010, was nominated as the Bilecik Mayor candidate by BTP Chairman Hüseyin Baş.
BTP Bilecik Mayor Candidate Mehmet Altın, who used the expressions "I am ready to contribute in unity and integrity and to contribute to the work of the region" in his resignation, said, "The task has come to a head for Bilecik, we will do what is necessary when necessary, we are tired of watching seasonal, seat-grabbing intrigues, we are coming for Bilecik, for the people of Bilecik."
