Turkish Statistical Institute published Motor Land Vehicle Statistics for the first month of the year. Accordingly, 213 thousand 493 vehicles were registered to traffic in January.

Of the vehicles registered in traffic, 53,1 percent are automobiles, 28,2 percent are motorcycles, 12,6 percent are pickup trucks, 2,4 percent are trucks, 2,1 percent are tractors, and 1,0 percent are motorcycles. minibuses, 0,4 percent buses and 0,2 percent special purpose vehicles.

While the number of vehicles registered in traffic increased by 7,1 percent compared to the previous month, it increased by 111,7 percent in trucks, 109,9 percent in minibuses, 70,8 percent in special purpose vehicles, 47,2 percent in buses and 39,9 percent in pickup trucks compared to the previous month. While it increased by 25,6 percent in automobiles, it decreased by 50,5 percent in tractors and 21,1 percent in motorcycles.
