As the high increase in rent and housing prices weighed on the citizens, the cost of living in big cities increased significantly. So what do the people of Bursa think about the increasing costs? Citizens have the say…

Here is “What do you think about the cost of living in Bursa?” Some of the answers we received from the citizens we asked the question:

-“Costs are very high, living is very difficult… If we did not have a side income, it would be very difficult to live on a pension.”

“I DO NOT BELIEVE TURKSTAT DATA”

-“Bursa is the fourth largest city in Turkey, but the cost of living is very high. I understand that it is very difficult to live on a pension. I never believe TÜİK data. "I say this as someone who lives on the streets and feels this, it is very high."

-“It is very expensive, people have no money and wander around idle. He can't go and sit anywhere. Our retirees were left hungry. They raise their own salaries by 85%. "I worked for 35 years, they are burying our retirees in the ground."

“WHAT HAPPENS IF RETIREMENT INCREASES?”

-“The wage we receive is not enough anyway, the living conditions have exhausted us. What happens if retirees are given a raise? We go to the market and they give us a price increase too. I am retired since 2015, it will be 10 thousand this month. Can this government survive on 10 thousand?
