37 percent of the construction of Sümbül Mansion, which was built by Samsun Metropolitan Municipality in accordance with Saathane Square, where the most beautiful works of the city's cultural heritage are located, has been completed. Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Demir said that they will complete the historical identity and aesthetic concept of the square with the Sümbül Mansion Cafe Project and said, "This will be the new meeting point of our fellow citizens from Samsun."

The Saathane Square Project, which will bring the city together with its historical and cultural riches, continues at full speed. Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, which will restore the square to its previous commercial function with the project, reflects the historical identity of the square with its concept and is building a cafe where visitors can have a pleasant time. Located at the intersection of Atatürk Boulevard and Çifte Hamam Street, Sümbül Mansion Cafe, with a contract value of 8 million 875 thousand liras, is being built on the light rail system route.

IT WILL REFLECT THE TRADITIONAL ARCHITECTURAL FEATURES OF THE CITY

As part of the construction works of Sümbül Mansion Cafe, which is built as two floors on a 200 square meter plot, the steel column installations have been completed, the beam and intermediate record assemblies have been completed, and the concrete for the 532st floor slab and basement floor slab slab has been poured. The ground floor of the cafe, which will reflect the traditional architectural features of the city, will be arranged in harmony with Saathane Square. The exterior of the cafe, which will have a terrace as well as semi-open and open seating areas, will be inspired by the traditional houses of the Black Sea, and detailed with wood and sunshades. Sümbül Mansion Cafe, with a capacity of 1 people with its terrace, will become one of the symbols of Samsun with its equipment and features. The project, which started in October last year and 93 percent of its construction has been completed, is planned to be put into service in August.

'SUMBUL MANSION WILL COMPLETE'

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir stated that they will complete the historical identity and aesthetic concept of the square with the Sümbül Mansion Cafe Project and said, “There was a high-rise building at the corner of our municipality junction, which was previously built with a zoning permit. We removed it by expropriating it. The construction works of Sümbül Mansion, which we built instead of that, complement the mission of Saathane Square, continue. 37 percent of the work has been completed. We aim to complete the construction of the mansion, which will be operated as a cafeteria, and put it at the service of the citizens. Sümbül Mansion will also be a very nice facility that we bring to the cultural life and tourism of our city, and it will become the new meeting point of our fellow citizens from Samsun.”
