55 Years of Waiting Ended in Sarıyer's Pınar and Rumeli Hisarı Neighborhoods

İBB put an end to the 55-year wait in Sarıyer's Pınar and Rumeli Hisarı neighborhoods. He started the process that will bring the right holders to their title deeds. The lands owned by İBB will only be sold to the right holders who own the building. Neighborhood residents will have the title deeds of their houses with the opportunity to pay in cash or in installments up to five years.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) put an end to the title deed problem of Pınar and Rumelihisarı districts of Sarıyer district. The lands in Pınar and Rumelihisarı Neighborhoods, which are owned by the İBB, will be sold only to the beneficiaries who own the building. With the decision of the IMM Assembly on July 7, 2022, which was issued in this direction, the residents of the neighborhood will have the opportunity to have the title deed of their own houses.

THREE MONTHS

Saying that they want to make a total of 5.407 households title deed in two neighborhoods, İBB Real Estate Department Head Kağan Sürmegöz said, “We will deliver their title deeds to them in 3 months if they pay in cash. We also offer installments up to 5 years for those who do not have a situation. They will have started the process by applying to the İBB Bakırköy Additional Service Building or Sarıyer Municipality with the documents we requested from them.”

INSTALLMENTS UP TO 5 YEARS

The beneficiaries will initiate the proceedings by applying to the İBB Bakırköy Additional Service Building or Sarıyer Municipality with the petition and the documents specified in the petition. It will be possible to pay in cash or in installments for beneficiaries who meet the low-income condition. After the applications are examined, the IMM Committee Decision will be taken and notified to them according to the sales method. If they make the payment in advance, they will be able to receive their shares within 3 months. Those who prefer to pay in installments will also make an installment agreement with low payments. After their payments are finished, they will also be able to get their share title deeds.
