Within the scope of the earthquake housing project of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the first excavation was carried out for 855 houses to be built in Nurdağı and İslahiye in the first place, and the contract signing process for 14 thousand 597 houses in different regions started. The residences, which will not exceed the ground plus 3-4 floors, are planned as 105 square meters gross, 85 square meters net and 3 plus 1.

In the first stage, 11 permanent residences and 199 village houses will be built in the 739 provinces affected by the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, with the help of the Housing Development Administration (TOKİ). The first excavation will be done for 73 of these residences, while the contracting process for 972 thousand 855 residences will be completed by the end of February.

With the help of TOKİ and General Directorate of Emlak Konut, affiliated to the Ministry, a process has been started for permanent residences as well as temporary shelters for earthquake victims affected by earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş.

In this context, in the new areas determined by TOKİ, in the first place, 45 thousand 67 in Kahramanmaraş, 44 thousand 770 in Malatya, 40 thousand 426 in Hatay, 25 thousand 882 in Adıyaman, 18 thousand 544 in Gaziantep, 9 thousand in Osmaniye. 550 residences will be built, including 6, 3 thousand in Diyarbakır, 750 in Elazığ, 3 thousand in Şanlıurfa, 2 in Adana and 200 in Kilis.

The residences will be built in reserve areas close to the center, determined according to the sociology, cultural structure, demographic structure of the city and the needs of the citizens.

The residences, which will not exceed the ground plus 3-4 floors, are planned as 105 square meters gross, 85 square meters net, 3 plus 1 excluding balconies.

93 plus 3 village houses of 1 square meters, net, with verandas and suitable for local architecture, will be built for earthquake victims residing in villages, whose houses have been destroyed or will be demolished in an emergency.

In this context, 17 thousand 990 in Malatya, 15 thousand 59 in Hatay, 13 thousand 16 in Kahramanmaraş, 9 thousand 896 in Adıyaman, 9 thousand 536 in Gaziantep, 2 thousand 927 in Diyarbakır, 2 thousand 81 in Şanlıurfa. , 1002 village houses will be built in Kilis, 701 in Adana, 386 and 73 thousand 972 village houses in Elazig.

The Ministry is planning to start the construction of 270 thousand houses in the city center and villages in March and April, and then increase this number in stages.

The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change pressed the button with the aim of relocating earthquake victims to permanent residences within one year. In the places where the ground survey works have been completed, the first excavation has been made for 855 houses in Gaziantep's Nurdağı and İslahiye districts, while the contract process has started for 14 thousand 597 houses in different regions. The signature process for these residences will be completed by February 28.
