CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu in Şırnak; On the question about the cancellation of KPSS, “There were those whose rights were defeated in the oral, and we saw those whose rights were defeated in the exams. There is a rotting structure and we have to fix this decaying structure. We will bring justice to this country. I promise Roboski. We have to protect the rights and the law of those young, bright children who took the KPSS exam and whose rights were taken away… Justice will either come to this country or it will come.”

In the press statement he made after the visit, the Chairman of the CHP said, “The dead will not come back, but the pain of mothers must be relieved in some way. Mothers live with the pain of their children and they want justice from us. We will provide this justice. If you provide justice, then you will ensure the embrace, peace and tranquility in the society. Otherwise, the fire in the hearts of mothers does not go out and will not go out.”

CHP leader Kılıçdaroğlu said:

Distinguished members of the press, on 28 December 2011, a very painful event took place here. We lost 34 of our children. Eighteen of them were younger than 18 years old. The pain still hasn't subsided. If justice is to come to the country, this pain must be relieved. The case needs to be clarified. I'm here to promise to shed light on this case. There must be justice, the case must be clarified. Only after the event is clarified can there be a goodbye. The dead will not come back, I am aware of this, we all know it already. But somehow the pain of mothers needs to be relieved. Mothers are still living with the pain of their children and they want justice from us. We will provide this justice. It is our duty to ensure justice. If you provide justice, then you will ensure the embrace in the society, the peace in the society, the peace in the society. Otherwise, the fire in the hearts of mothers does not and will not go out.

Kemal Kılıçtaroğlu, I know that there is a great corruption in the state. I did not go to the door of the Ministry of National Education for nothing, I did not stand there for nothing, I did not go there for nothing and say that in order to ensure the right, law and justice, justice must be delivered in one way or another. There were those whose rights were defeated in the oral, and we saw those whose rights were defeated in the exams. There is a rotting structure and we have to fix this decaying structure. Just as we provide justice here, we have to defend the rights and laws of all our children who took the KPSS exam and defeated the right. We will bring justice to this country. Look, I promise here from Roboski, I promise the whole nation. We have to live in justice in Turkey. If justice comes to this country, peace will come. The Ministry of National Education has a decaying state structure from the palace to the very bottom. There is no merit, no morals, everything is in a way finished. But we will fix it all. I promised, I promise again, justice will either come to this country or it will come.

Following the press statement, President of the Republican People's Party Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, together with his wife, Mr. Selvi Kılıçdaroğlu, paid a condolence visit to the family of Security Guard Kerem Mehmetoğlu, who was martyred as a result of a mine explosion on Tuesday.
