Local flavors are at the forefront
The Metropolitan Municipality, which has turned its route to tourism in order for Yeşil Bursa, the capital of culture and civilization, to get the share it deserves from the cake, continues its efforts to ensure that more tourists from Turkey and abroad come to the city and spend time. The Metropolitan Municipality, which is preparing to host an important festival in Bursa, an important gastronomy city with its rich food culture, will organize the Bursa Gastronomy Festival with the slogan of 'Silky Tastes' in Merinos Park between 23-25 September. Aiming to make Bursa, one of the lifebloods of Turkish gastronomy with its geographically indicated food products grown on fertile lands and increasing in number, being recognized by wider masses, the Metropolitan Municipality will bring together all the stakeholders of the sector. Within the scope of the festival, interviews, panels, award-winning competitions, exhibitions, gastroshow and masterclass trainings will be organized with the participation of famous chefs and social media phenomena in the field of gastronomy. In the festival, where concerts and activities for children will also be held, the stands of companies will take place, with Bursa flavors at the forefront.
Applications are ongoing
In the festival, where businesses operating in Bursa for more than 50 years and 'descendants from grandfather to grandchildren' will take place; Geographically marked products, Bursa delicacies, other local products in our country, products produced in Bursa's food industry, street delicacies, Bursa culture and art products, healthy nutrition and women's cooperative stands will be established. Companies that want to participate in the festival can apply at bursa.bel.tr until Friday, August 19th. Applications will be evaluated and determined by the festival committee consisting of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Bursa Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Turkish Travel Agencies Association, Bursa Chambers of Craftsmen and Craftsmen, and Southern Marmara Touristic Hoteliers and Operators Association.

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş said that they will organize an organization called 'Bursa Gastronomy Festival Silky Tastes' for 23 days on 25-2022 September 3.
