The Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) Tasimacilik AS stated that the HEPP code query when buying and getting on trains in line with the circular of the Ministry of Interior has been removed as of 3 March.
TCDD stated that the mask requirement continues on the trains regarding the mask circular of the Ministry of Interior.
The company's Twitter account provided the following information regarding the HEPP code application:
“In line with the circular of the Ministry of Interior, the HEPP code query when buying and boarding our trains has been abolished as of March 3, 2022. Our passengers continue to be required to wear masks during their travels.
