Ankara Metropolitan Municipality started maintenance, repair and painting works in order to give an aesthetic appearance to the worn pedestrian overpasses throughout the city. The teams of the Department of Urban Aesthetics included 17 pedestrian overpasses in the maintenance program before the spring months.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality has started cleaning, maintenance, repair and painting work on 17 pedestrian overpasses that have worn out or lost paint in the Capital.
The teams of the Department of Urban Aesthetics took action in order to extend the economic life of the overpasses and to give the city an aesthetic appearance before the spring months.
PEDESTRIAN RAILS ARE PAINTED WITH 17 PEDESTRIAN OVERPASS
Within the scope of the works carried out, composite deck coating, sandblasting, cleaning and painting works are carried out, while the overpass groves are overhauled.
In order for citizens to cross the street safely in areas with heavy vehicle traffic, the Metropolitan Municipality, which has brought new overpasses to the Capital, has also prepared a maintenance, repair, cleaning and painting work schedule for the following 17 pedestrian overpasses, especially streets and boulevards:
