As of July 1, electricity prices have been increased by 15 percent for all subscriber groups.

According to the written statement made by EMRA, it was stated that, effective from 1 July, final electricity sales prices increased by 15 percent for all subscriber groups.

It was stated in the statement that there will be a 15 percent increase in the tariffs due to the cost increases in electricity production. The following statements were used in the statement:

“Due to the cost increases in electricity generation, a 1 percent increase was made in final electricity sales prices for all subscriber groups, effective as of July 2021, 15.

In this context, as of July 1, 2021, residential subscribers will pay 100 Turkish Liras, including taxes and funds, for 91,56 kilowatt-hours of electrical energy.”
