Mutual Fire Training Between Manisa Metropolitan and TCDD

A protocol was signed between Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department and TCDD Manisa Station Directorate. With the protocol signed, basic fire training was given mutually, and after the training, a practical exercise was carried out.

Contributing to public institutions and organizations with fire trainings, Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Fire Brigade Department continues its trainings uninterruptedly in order for the personnel to be prepared in the event of a fire and to make the necessary first response. Basic fire training is given to the personnel of the institution by the trainers of the Fire Department. In accordance with the protocol signed between TCDD Manisa Station Directorate and Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, basic fire training was given to the personnel of TCDD Manisa Station Directorate by the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department.

Following the training given by the trainers of the Metropolitan Municipality Fire Brigade Department, the trainers of the TCDD Aegean Regional Directorate provided training to the personnel of the Metropolitan Municipality Fire Brigade Department on fire-fighting techniques in electrically powered trains and how to respond to situations that may occur on power lines. After the training given, a fire extinguishing drill was held. Gürhan İnal, Head of the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Fire Brigade Department, who took part in the trainings given, stated that the trainings given and received will continue, and said, “We aim to be successful in the face of fire with various intervention techniques against possible fire situations, both with the trainings we receive and the trainings we provide. Our aim is to overcome the negativities faced by the citizens without experiencing victimization,” he said.
