Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality has made expansion works for Ömer Türkçakal Boulevard to reach Salim Dervişoğlu Street more easily. The expansion work started on Kumla Creek Bridge then continued on Karadut Street and Moss Street. Within the scope of the study, with the lights next to the wholesalers site of Salim Dervişoğlu Street Dr. Necmettin Erbakan was divided into two lanes between the Yaya Bridge.
450 METRIC CONSTRUCTION
In the scope of the study, infrastructure works were carried out in the section of the road that was expanded. In the study on the improvement of the ground, the Department of Transportation renewed the paving work on the Moss Street and Karadut Street. Then the Lights and Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan Yaya Bridge between the 450 meters in the divided path of binder asphalt application was made. The paving work in this section will be completed after the paving asphalt of the last layer.
REMARKS HAS BEEN RENEWED
During the expansion works, sidewalks were renewed in the 450 meter section of Karadut Street, Moss Street and Salim Dervişoğlu Street. New paving and curbs were installed on the pavements. Seaweed Street between Wholesaler Sitesi and Hasan Gemici Sports Hall was expanded within the scope of the project. Renewed Moss Street, Karadut Street, Ömer Türkçakal Boulevard was an alternative route connecting Salim Dervişoğlu Street. With the project, the vehicles coming from Ömer Türkçakal Bulvarı Gölcük direction will provide easy access to the road from Karadut and Moss Street as an alternative to Salim Dervişoğlu Street.
