World's Second Old Metro Tunnel 143 Age

Turkey's first celebrated 143 years of history, the world's second subway tunnels. IETT managers, employees and Tünel passengers attended the ceremony held at Tünel's Karaköy Station.

The program was completed with a photographic exhibition of the history of the tunnel from the past to the present, photographing and sahlep.

The subway tunnel, which runs between Galata and Pera, runs around an average of 181 a day with a thousand 15 voyages and operates at a risk of zero accidents. The number of passengers in the tunnel, called Istanbul Tunnel, which is called Istanbul Tunnel, Galata-Pera Tunnel, Galata Tunnel, Galata-Pera Underground Train, Istanbul City Train, Underground Lift and Tahtelarz, is the first to reach 5,5 million.
