Minibus Collided with the Train 1 Dead: A train crashed into the minibus trying to cross the level crossing in Çankırı. One person lost his life in the accident.
The incident occurred in the town of Çerkeş. In the neighborhood of Ulusu, the panel type minibus used by Ramazan Tetik (57) collided with the TCDD road maintenance and repair train at the level crossing towards Çerkeş. Ramazan Tetik, retired official who returned from a visit to his daughter and son in the accident, died at the scene. After the investigation of the public prosecutor of the Çerkeş Tetik's funeral Çerkeş State Hospital morgue was removed.
The investigation is ongoing.
