TUGIAD from acute to snowmobiling: Young Businessmen Association of Turkey (TUGIAD) purchased with donations received from the members of snowmobiling, Van has delivered acute.

The snowmobile purchased with the donations of TÜGİAD was delivered to AKUT with a ceremony held at Abalı Ski Center in Abalı Village of Gevaş District. At the delivery ceremony attended by TÜGİAD President Ali Yücelen, AKUT President Ali Nasuh Mahruki, and President of the Southeastern Young Businessmen Association Hakan Akbal, a patient rescue exercise was also held on a snowmobile stretcher.

Speaking here, TÜGİAD Chairman of the Board Yücelen said that the news that 1.5-year-old Muharrem Taş died in Çalık hamlet of Yalınca Village in Gürpınar District, due to the fact that the roads were closed from snow and could not be brought to the hospital, said that they were very upset.

Stating that they discussed with their members what should be done thereupon, Yücelen said: “We decided to support AKUT's work. As the first step of this, we decided to buy a snowmobile for AKUT, which touches the lives of many people who carry out hundreds of operations every winter with their teams in the Eastern Anatolia Region. It is our responsibility for a 1.5-year-old child to die due to lack of timely and adequate intervention. None of us can escape from this responsibility. I appeal to those who constantly post messages on these issues on social media. Whining and complaining is in everyone's interest. A few emotional messages are then forgotten. If you want to be a remedy and fulfill your humanitarian duty, contact AKUT. Donations and aids you will make to this organization will find their place. "

'WE SAVED 130 LIVES WITH ONE OF IT'

Turkey's eastern and southeastern regions of geography that have a remaining 4-5 months under snow belirter ACUTE President Ali Nasuhi Mahruki is said that the major problem of patients reaching the hospital in emergency cases. Stating that it takes great effort and expense to open the roads with large vehicles and work machines to reach the patient, Mahruki stated that all this effort only worked once, and that a week or ten days later, when an emergency occurs in the region, it is necessary to fight all this again.

Stating that the AKUT Bingöl Team has been using snowmobiles in such operations in the region since 2002 and has achieved very successful results, Mahruki said, “We have seen that patient transport with vehicles that can go on snow is much faster, economical and efficient, and this pilot study we started in Bingöl was accepted as a sample model. We took part in saving the lives of around 130 people with a snowmobile. We wanted to improve this. As a result of this donation made by TÜGİAD to AKUT, we have another snowmobile. We will give this motorcycle to our team in Erzurum. Thus, we will have snowmobiles in both Bingöl and Erzurum. Thus, in such emergencies that may occur in this region, these vehicles will be used in cases where snowmobiles are needed, and I can already say that these snowmobiles can save many lives here if necessary.
