Wagon debate in Parliament: The meeting of Sarayönü Municipal Council was held on Thursday. As the elections approached and the political climax reached, the municipal council meeting took its share from the excitement of elections. The first agenda item of the Assembly meeting was the wagon factory which was planned to be built in Evcekaya. The firm will complete the procedures of the factory and the demand for the construction of an application plan for industrial applications for the area where the factory will be built was discussed.
The subject was referred to the commission at the January meeting, with the request for zoning for the area, which was previously unanimously sold by the parliament for the construction of the factory. On January 10, 2014, the zoning commission, consisting of Hayrettin Bayraktar, Veysel Ülker and Mutlu Büyükcengiz, discussed the issue and accepted the request unanimously, not seeing an industrial development zoning plan. In the assembly meeting, a decision contradicting the commission decision caused serious discussions. Some councilors argued that the issue was brought to parliament a short time before the elections, and that this situation was to be rejected, suggesting that it was intended to be made election material.
On the other hand, the documents and procedures completed by the company last month expressing President Mehmet South, the company related to this issue can not be applied to any effect and sanction, this is a random coincidence and has nothing to do with the elections, he added. In the following, it became clear that investment was hampered and that this was intended to be a selection material. After these voices were voiced, there were fierce debates among councilors.
