President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the 5th Conference of the Inter-Parliamentary Jerusalem Platform.
President Erdoğan made the following statements in his speech here: “As the grandchildren of our ancestors who revived Jerusalem, which was destroyed by the Crusades, we follow what is happening in Palestine. The ancient identity of Jerusalem is being destroyed step by step by the occupying Israel. We see that the Crusader mentality is revived again. No power can remove the love of Jerusalem from our hearts. As Türkiye, we consider it our duty to protect Jerusalem.
“NETANYAHU IS THE 'TOWN OF GAZA'”
Today's Hitler and Nazis murdered 15 thousand children and 35 thousand people in Gaza. Netanyahu has written his name shamefully in history as the "Butcher of Gaza".
Once again, I send my respects to the Palestinian heroes. Words are no longer sufficient to describe what has happened since October 7. Those who want to see the pharaohs of the modern period should look at the ones who massacred the Palestinians.

We were exposed to great slander during the election process. Some people tried to overshadow our support for Palestine.
Türkiye ranks first in aid to Gaza. The total amount of humanitarian aid we have sent with 7 planes and 13 ships since October 9 has reached 50 thousand tons. In terms of trade, Turkey is the only country that imposes export restrictions on Israel in 54 product groups.
