The first national naval gun developed by Istanbul Shipyard Command and MKE was made ready for port and sea tests.
In the post made on the social media account of the Ministry of National Defense, it was stated that the first 76/62 mm national naval gun developed by Istanbul Shipyard Command and MKE under our General Directorate of Shipyards, under the design and performance responsibility of the Ministry, was mounted on TCG AKHİSAR (P-1220) and is ready for port and sea tests. It was announced that it was made available.
The Ministry also included images of the first national beach ball in its post.
