New President Ahmet Ercan Kızılcık in Mmg Bursa

The 9th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of MMG Bursa Branch was held at MÜSİAD Bursa Branch Association Center; Previous Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, AK Party Trabzon Deputy and also Chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Public Works, Reconstruction, Transport and Tourism Commission Adil Karaismailoğlu, AK Party Bursa Deputy Ahmet Kılıç, Yıldırım Mayor Oktay Yılmaz, Birlik Foundation Bursa Branch President Mustafa Bayraktar, MÜSİAD Bursa Branch President Alpaslan Şenocak, BİHMED President Kadir Oruç, IMH Bursa Branch President Ali Yılmaz, as well as previous term branch presidents and many guests and association members attended.

Speaking at the general assembly, Adil Karaismailoğlu, former Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, AK Party Trabzon Deputy and also Chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Public Works, Reconstruction, Transport and Tourism Commission, wished the 9th Ordinary General Assembly of MMG Bursa Branch to be beneficial. Pointing out that architects and engineers are those who produce solutions to make life easier, Adil Karaismailoğlu said, “Engineers; "It makes life easier, adds and produces confidence, comfort and value to life," he said. Karaismailoğlu also conveyed to the participants the Türkiye Century vision projects rising under the auspices of local and national engineering in his presentation.

After the presentation and opening by Karaismailoğlu, the general assembly was held, where Cihat Keskil was the Chairman of the Council, Talip Akçı was the Vice Chairman of the Council, and Sıddık Ebubekir Aslan was the Clerk Member of the Council.

NEW PRESIDENT KIZILCIK AT MMG BURSA

In the general assembly, firstly, the income-expense tables and activity reports of the 7th and 8th periods of MMG Bursa Branch were read and voted on and accepted unanimously. Then, MMG Bursa Branch organ elections started for the 2024-2026 period. In the election held with a single list, Ahmet Ercan Kızılcık became the new president of MMG Bursa Branch. In his speech, Kızılcık said:

“I have been elected as the president of MMG, where I have been a member since 2006, a board member and vice president for two terms, with the favor of you, esteemed members. I would like to thank you for your trust and support in me and my board of directors. First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to our esteemed minister and our city protocol for being with us on this important day. MMG; It is a well-established non-governmental organization that believes in democracy, transparency, the rule of law, human rights and freedoms, and draws its inspiration from the historical and cultural riches of our country. “I am honored to be a part of this community that accepts the customs, traditions and universal values ​​of our society as a given.”

“MMG IS A SELFISH AND BIG FAMILY”

In his speech, Kızılcık also thanked the previous term MMG Bursa Branch President Kasım Şükrü Karabulut and said, “In the new period, we will continue our goals to produce value for our country, support innovation and entrepreneurship at all levels, and set an example for the youth with the intricacies of our profession. We will grow by adding new friends to our ranks, implement projects that meet the requirements of the age, and further increase our communication with our youth, who are our future. We will continue our technical trips, informative meetings and many events during this period. Kasım Şükrü Karabulut is our president and we will try to raise the flag of service we inherited from previous administrations even higher. MMG is a devoted and big family. "I would like to thank all our elders and friends who have worked in our branch so far," he said.
