Citizens welcomed Mayor Dündar, who changed the face of Osmangazi district with his urban transformation works, with great enthusiasm at the opening of the 8th Stage of the Soğanlı Urban Transformation Project. “We produced earthquake-resistant houses”
Speaking at the opening of the election contact center, which was held with the intense participation of citizens, Osmangazi Mayor and People's Alliance Candidate Mustafa Dündar said, “We are in the exemplary neighborhood and district of Bursa. We are in a region where Turkey takes urban transformation as an example. When we started working in this region in 2009, no one thought that this result would emerge. The ground plus 5 floor application put forward by our President is the only place in metropolitan cities where it is implemented in Çiftehavuzlar and Fatih Districts of Osmangazi district. The building where we opened the election office today is the eighth of the urban transformation stages we started in this region. We will continue these studies in the new period. We have completed 8 stages of Soğanlı Urban Transformation. We built 75 thousand solid houses in Osmangazi. This means a city of 300 thousand people. We provided these houses by encouraging our people in Bursa to live in solid houses through urban transformation. Hopefully, we will be re-elected on March 31 with the support of our citizens and if we continue our duty, we have identified 11 different locations. “We will continue our work in these locations.” said.
“New green area of 1 million 700 thousand square meters”
Stating that they carried out important work to increase the decreasing greenery of Bursa during their 3-term service period in Osmangazi, Mayor Dündar said, “We added 450 new parks to our Osmangazi district and built 1 million 700 thousand square meters of new green areas. We organized these places and made them available to the citizens. We opened the most beautiful and special public garden in Bursa last week. We expropriated the area where this park is located as a municipality and made 100 decares of land available to the citizens. We are increasing greenery in our district. We built a green and modern city in the Soğanlı region. We request authorization from our citizens on March 31 to continue our investments and projects. We see this enthusiasm in the neighborhoods and streets we visit. We hear our citizens say 'Mustafa Dündar again'. With God's permission, on March 31, the People's Alliance will plant the flag on the bastions of Osmangazi and continue its service. "Our job is service, our strength is the nation," he said.
