According to sales numbers, Istanbul was followed by Ankara with 9 thousand 523 house sales and a 9,0% share, and Izmir with 6 thousand 413 house sales and a 6,1% share. The provinces with the lowest number of house sales were Ardahan with 23 houses, Bayburt with 42 houses and Hakkari with 55 houses.
THOUSAND 672 HOUSES WERE SOLD FOR THE FIRST TIME IN IZMIR

Second-hand house sales in Izmir increased by 7% compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 4 thousand 741. The share of second-hand house sales in total house sales in Izmir was 73,9%.
MORTGAGED HOUSE SALES IN IZMIR ARE 882
Mortgaged house sales in Izmir decreased by 39,5% compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 882. 8% of the houses sold in March were mortgaged.
24 HOUSES WERE SOLD TO FOREIGNERS IN IZMIR IN MARCH
House sales to foreigners in Izmir in March decreased by 73,9% compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 24. Housing sales to foreigners in our country decreased by 47,9% in March compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 778. The share of housing sales to foreigners in total housing sales in March was 1,7%. Istanbul ranked first in housing sales to foreigners with 652 housing sales. Istanbul was followed by Antalya with 618 house sales and Mersin with 151 house sales.
BUCA IS FIRST IN HOUSING SALES
In Izmir, the most house sales in March 2024 took place in Buca. While 703 houses were sold in Buca, one of the districts with the highest number of house sales, Menemen followed Buca with 673 house sales, followed by Menemen with 612 house sales. Karşıyaka, Torbalı with 471 house sales, Karabağlar with 409 house sales, Çiğli with 408 house sales, Bornova with 391 house sales, Konak with 359 house sales, Aliağa with 248 house sales and 238 house sales. Bayraklı followed.
