Home Care Payments in Accounts Before the Holidays

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that "Home Care Assistance payments will be deposited into accounts before Ramadan Feast.

Minister Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş reminded that Home Care Assistance, one of the most important family-oriented care service models offered by the ministry, was launched in 2006 with the idea of ​​supporting disabled individuals primarily with their families.

Stating that they prioritize the care of our disabled citizens at home to preserve their family integrity, Minister Göktaş said, "With Home Care Assistance, we support the preservation and strengthening of family unity by living with the family or relatives of disabled people without leaving their living environment." Stating that with Home Care Assistance, citizens who take care of their fully dependent relatives in need of care are supported and family integrity is protected, Göktaş said, “As the Ministry, we develop policies from a rights-based perspective so that disabled individuals can fully access their fundamental rights such as education, health, security and employment. He said that they are trying to reach every member of the society with the holistic and fair social service models we have developed.

Stating that 7.608 TL per beneficiary is paid monthly within the scope of Home Care Assistance, Minister Göktaş said, “Due to the Ramadan Feast, we are bringing forward the Home Care Assistance payments for fully dependent citizens and their families who are cared for at home and depositing them into the accounts as of Monday, April 8. This month, we will make a total Home Care Assistance payment of 561 billion TL for 4,2 thousand citizens who benefit from Home Care Assistance. Within the framework of our Turkey Century Vision, as the ministry, we will continue our work to ensure that rights-based social assistance in the field of disability is sustainable with a transparent understanding. "I hope that the payments will be beneficial to all our disabled citizens and their families," he said.
