Türkiye WILL RISE ON THE SHOULDERS OF OUR CHILDREN

The ceremony, which started from the Martyr Nihat Karadaş Stadium, started with a moment of silence and then the reading of the National Anthem. District Director of National Education Murat Balay, who made the opening speech of the ceremony, said: “Dear children, the hope, joy and assurance of the Republic of Turkey and our Great Nation; “I congratulate the 104th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and the National Sovereignty and Children's Day of all children of Turkey and the world with my most sincere feelings. The Grand National Assembly of Turkey, one of the most important symbols of our glorious history from past to present, will forever continue to be the symbol of national will, national sovereignty, democracy and independence, as it has been for 104 years. The spirit of April 23, 1920, our determination and determination for independence, and our belief in our unity and solidarity are our greatest trust that we will pass on to future generations. In addition to being the most important symbol of democracy, national will and nation's sovereignty, April 23 is also a sign of the value our nation attaches to its children and its trust in its youth. The gift of April 23, a turning point in our history, to children as a holiday by Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk has become a symbol of our nation's belief in our children. It is our duty to raise our children as people who love their country and nation, work and produce for them, and to make them honorable and upright citizens of the respected and powerful Republic of Turkey in the world. "Turkey will rise on the shoulders of our children and youth, and will achieve its 2053 and 2071 goals with their dynamism and enthusiasm," he said.

WE ARE BITTERLY CELEBRATING OUR 23 APRIL JOY

Dilovası Mayor Ramazan Ömeroğlu, who later took the podium, said in his speech: "Today, we celebrate the 104th anniversary of the National Sovereignty and Children's Day, which we celebrate with joy, enthusiasm and pride, once again, in order to lead to goodness, well-being and beauty for our entire nation and humanity." let it be. April 23 is the name of the day when sovereignty was unconditionally given to our nation with the opening of the Turkish Grand National Assembly... April 23 is the name of the day when our nation's struggle for existence with the War of Independence was written in history in golden letters... April 23 is not just a date for us. It is a turning point. It is the name of breaking the chains that the imperialist powers want to impose on our nation... After that great day, a nation that believed in victory and success and showed the whole world how to overcome great difficulties in unity and solidarity. Our greatest wish is to share the enthusiasm and joy of April 23, which went down in history as the first and only Children's Day in the world, with all the children of the world and to make them share in our happiness. However, in many parts of the world, our children, who deserve to be happy and laugh to the fullest, are losing their lives in wars, poverty and destitution. Especially in Palestine and Gaza, our children are being killed and their lives taken away from them every day, and the world just watches. Unfortunately, this situation makes our joy and enthusiasm for April 23 bittersweet. Our only wish is for all children in the world to live a life in peace and tranquility... I am aware and aware that we have a lot of work to do in this regard. As Dilovası Municipality, we will support our children in every field. We will always be there for them. Don't worry, we will implement our projects both materially and spiritually for their happiness and peace. Finally, I would like to end my speech with the following words of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. ''Little ladies, little gentlemen! You are all a rose, a star and a light of success for the future. Bring the hometown to the true light

You are the one who will drown. Think about how important and valuable you are and work accordingly. We expect a lot from you. ''said.

CHILDREN ARE THE SECURITY OF OUR FUTURE

The last speaker in the program was Dilovası District Governor Dr. In his speech, Metin Kubilay said, “During the War of Independence, our beloved nation fought in great unity, achieved victory and declared our Republic. Our Grand National Assembly of Turkey, which was established on April 23, 1923 with the principle of "Sovereignty belongs unconditionally to the nation", has declared to the whole world our determination and determination for full independence. Indeed, our beloved nation has written epic after epic since the day it entered the stage of history and has never accepted living in captivity. It is also of particular importance that today is the world's only Children's Day. Because the child is the future, the child is development, the rise and the child is trust. Our nation's horizons will expand with you, and the future of our country will rise on your shoulders. The assurance of our future is you, our beloved children. That's why Ataturk declared such a day as a holiday for all children and gifted it to you. Therefore, our expectation from you is that you know the value of this gift, work hard and raise our country above the level of contemporary civilizations. The biggest challenge for us adults is that we guide and direct you on this path. This will be our pride and honor. With these feelings and thoughts, we once again commemorate Gazi Mustafa Kemal, the first president of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, and all our martyrs and veterans who willingly sacrificed their lives in the achievement of our Independence and Sovereignty, with mercy and gratitude, while we commemorate the 23 April National Day of our beloved children and our entire nation. "I wholeheartedly congratulate Sovereignty and Children's Day," he said.
