Keşan TSO (Chamber of Commerce and Industry) participated in the Women Entrepreneurs Board International Women's Day Event held at TOBB (Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges). Keşan TSO Board Member Aylin Alabak, Council Member Ayşe Deniz, TOBB Edirne KGK (Women Entrepreneurs Board) Vice President Emine Günay and Chamber Registry Officer Burcu Avcu attended the event. Female council presidents, female board members, female entrepreneurs and female general secretaries of all chambers and commodity exchanges attended the event. In the opening speeches made by TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz and TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board President Nurten Öztürk; While the place and importance of women in the world was mentioned, information was given about the knowledge and experiences women gained in business life.

Keşan TSO Board Member Aylin Alabak, who made a statement after the event, said: “According to the statements made within the scope of the event, while 3/2 of the total working hours belong to women, only 10 percent of the world income belongs to women, while 100 out of 60 women work in European Union countries.” Information was given that 100 out of 31 women in our country participate in production and labor force. The wishes and demands of entrepreneurial women in the fields of trade, industry, tourism, agriculture and education were expressed. Incentive and support projects implemented by TOBB to encourage entrepreneurship were mentioned. "With the events and projects we carry out as a chamber, we ensure that our female entrepreneurs, who are our members, take an active role in the economy and social life, while also setting an example for those who want to become female entrepreneurs."
Alabak continued his statement; "After the event, together with the Women's Council Presidents of all Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, Women's Board Members, Women Entrepreneurs and Women's General Secretaries, we organized a campaign that allows women to have a say in the social and political arena and said: "Hero Turkish woman, you deserve not to crawl on the ground, but to rise to the skies on your shoulders."
