Making a short speech before the iftar, Mayor Büyükakın said, “Today, we are having our iftar here with peace of mind. But a human tragedy is taking place in Gaza, Palestine, before the eyes of the whole world. The attacks by Israel against our Palestinian brothers have not stopped. So much so that even aid is being shot by Israel in the region. The prayers of fasting people are accepted. "Today, let's all pray for this oppression in Gaza to stop," he said.
