Speaking at the first session of March, which is the last council meeting of the 2019-2024 period of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Metropolitan Mayor Alinur Aktaş congratulated all council members on the month of Ramadan. Stating that they have come to the end of their 5-year term, Mayor Alinur Aktaş said, “For 5 years, we gathered, consulted and exchanged ideas to serve our ancient city Bursa. We expressed our opinion, explained our thoughts, and made a decision. As a result, we strived to add value to our city. Your ideas, suggestions and proposals have always been eye-opening for us while creating plans, projects, strategies and policies for the future of our city. We have friends who have talents in different subjects. We have friends who are engineers, architects, traders, accountants and educators. Each of your ideas were valuable. We saw your contribution at this point as a treasure that added value to Bursa. We are a big family, and as members of this family, we have revived the present of our city together. "We decided on their future together," he said.

Stating that they are proud to serve Bursa and the people of Bursa with all their heart and soul for 5 years, Mayor Aktaş said, “I would like to thank each council member individually for their contributions, support, opinions, proposals and work. May God bless you. In any case, it was nice to be under this roof. By taking your place in Bursa's history, you have received the best gift you can ever receive. But we still wanted to prepare a note of gratitude for you and keep it with you as a souvenir. I hope this certificate of appreciation will decorate your home as a reminder of your 5 years of service to Bursa. Saying goodbye is important to us. Well done to me. I hope you will also be given justice. Thank you very much for your efforts. Membership of the parliament is a job that requires both responsibility and sacrifice. You have done this to a great extent during this period. You expressed your ideas and thoughts regardless of party. Our doors and hearts are always wide open to friends who will not continue this duty in the new term. I hope everything goes well. I hope you have healthy and peaceful days with your family. After the speech, Mayor Aktaş, current mayors, group sözcüHe presented a plaque of appreciation to each of the former members of parliament who resigned from their duties due to their work and membership in parliament.
The assembly meeting continued under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman of the Assembly, Yıldırım Mayor Oktay Yılmaz. After the agenda items and motions were discussed, a plaque of appreciation was given to the council members.
