Enhancer Project Brings the Business World Together in Kayseri

Within the scope of the EU-supported project, representatives and entrepreneurs from many sectors came together to develop trade and increase trade volume in Kayseri.

In the event where experts in their fields took part in training, panels and workshops; Entrepreneurs operating in the fields of machinery equipment, metal manufacturing and repair, furniture, agriculture/food and innovative and high-tech value chains came together for new business opportunities.

Speaking at the event, ICMPD, Western Balkans and Türkiye Regional Coordinator Tamer Kılıç said; “We are trying to develop the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Turkey. In this context, our main goal is to increase the employment of both Turkish citizens and Syrians under temporary protection. Of course, while doing this, we wish to make more structural contributions to the general entrepreneurship ecosystem in Turkey. "We are working with the Ministry of Industry and Technology within the framework of policy and strategy to make changes in structural issues," he said.

“WE WILL MANAGE A BUDGET OF 350 MILLION EUROS”

Tamer Kılıç stated that they have implemented an intensive work program on migration and development; “We are working intensively on how we can support Turkey's development through migration, as in this project. We are also working on possible collaborations on migration routes or migration between Europe and Turkey. We have completed more than 2013 high-scale projects in Turkey since 30. We will manage a total budget of 4 million Euros in this and the next 350 years. "A very important part of these will be in the areas of social and economic development," he said.

“TOTAL BUDGET FOR 16 PROVINCES INCLUDING KAYSERİ IS 70 MILLION EURO”

In his speech, Kılıç stated that the ENHANCER project will be completed as of this year; “As a result of our work with our friends at the European Union and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, we have developed a new project called 'ENHANCER PRO' and we plan to work more result-oriented in this project. We will have work that can support both the private sector and local governments. In summary, we will provide direct grants to start-ups, SMEs, cooperatives and common use facilities that have been successfully implemented in Kayseri. Approximately 50 million Euros, financed by the European Union, will be given as direct grants. The overall budget of the project is 70 million Euros. This project will be implemented in 16 provinces, including Kayseri, and approximately 10 thousand beneficiaries will benefit not only from grants but also from activities. Our goal is to create at least 2 jobs.” said.
