World Medical Association: “Again Called for Urgent Action for Gaza”

The World Medical Association Reiterated its Stand Against Human Rights Violations and Called for Urgent Action for Gaza.

Reacting to the ongoing war in Gaza, the World Medical Association (WMA) reiterated its call for medical neutrality, strongly condemning all violations of human rights in accordance with international law and demanding the safety of all civilians, especially children, as well as healthcare workers and institutions. World Medical Association Leader Dr. Lujain Alqodmani said in his statement: “The World Medical Association expresses its concern regarding the humanitarian crisis and public health situation in Gaza. Safe access to healthcare services must be re-established and ensured for everyone who needs it. This includes the implementation of public health measures and comprehensive medical control and intervention. "Doctors and other healthcare professionals should be provided with a safe working environment, and these individuals should not be left in the middle of military operations."
