Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırcı, who started his speech with the hope that the new period will be beneficial, said: “We will represent the Konya Model Municipality in the strongest way as a candidate of the People's Alliance and as the Mayor of the People's Alliance in Konya, as we have done so far. Hopefully, together, we will carry out exemplary work and exemplary municipal services from Konya not only to Turkey but also to the world. Of course, today is an important day for us. Our Metropolitan Mayor candidate in Konya was previously announced by our President. Our Mayor, Uğur Ibrahim Altay, was once again nominated by our President for Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, expressing himself in the strongest way in Turkey and in the world, with his exemplary municipal activities so far. Today, AK Party and Nationalist Movement Party candidates in 31 districts of Konya were announced as People's Alliance candidates by our Deputy Chairman Mustafa Elitaş in Konya. I wish success to all our People's Alliance candidates, AK Party and Nationalist Movement Party mayoral candidates. Hopefully, on March 31, we will all join hands and heart to elect all our People's Alliance mayoral candidates as Mayors again with record votes in Konya.
