Republican People's Party (CHP) Bağlar District Chairman Erdil Baydemir published a commemorative message on the anniversary of the February 6 earthquake. President Baydemir said the following in his message: "While the wounds of the earthquakes in our country have not yet healed, thousands of our citizens lost their lives and thousands of our citizens were injured in the February 6 Kahramanmaraş earthquake. The Kahramanmaraş earthquake took its place in history as one of the most painful disasters our nation has experienced. Our country and especially our region are at risk of earthquakes. We must build our structures without ignoring this fact. Earthquakes will always happen. The important thing is that we must be prepared to minimize our losses in these earthquakes and structure our buildings accordingly. In this sense; Public institutions and organizations, local governments, non-governmental organizations and our citizens must act with common responsibility and sensitivity and make our preparations accordingly. "In the commemoration year of the February 6 Kahramanmaraş earthquake, I hope that such a pain will never happen again in our country and in the world, and I wish God's mercy to the earthquake martyrs we lost in the earthquake, and my condolences and patience to their relatives," he said.
