Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş met with representatives and opinion leaders of Eastern and Southeastern non-governmental organizations at the Atatürk Congress Cultural Center. Speaking at the program attended by Bursa Deputies Mustafa Varank, Refik Özen, Ahmet Kılıç and Mustafa Yavuz, Osmangazi Mayor Mustafa Dündar, Yıldırım Mayor Oktay Yılmaz and political party representatives, Metropolitan Mayor Alinur Aktaş said that he came to Bursa 40-50 years ago from different regions. , said that he was happy to meet people who kept both the city of his birth and the city where he lived in their hearts. Stating that Bursa, with a population of up to three and a half million, is a spiritual city, Mayor Aktaş said, “Each of our cities has its own beauty, but Bursa is uniquely beautiful. Each of our hearts, hearts and prayers are with Bursa. It is valuable for all of us that Bursa is valuable, clean, peaceful, safe and has high commercial activity. Many negative events have occurred in our country in the last 5 years. Life has come to a halt due to the pandemic. There were fires in the south of the country and floods in the north. As Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, we tried to reach every region of our country. We were shaken by two great earthquakes, the disaster of the century. We did good work in the region to heal the wounds. The people of Bursa gave us this power. Despite all the negativities, we did not make excuses and did not hold back on what we promised. We planned to revitalize every corner, improve the streets and avenues, touch one more life, and give a scholarship to one more child. "As Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, we have accomplished good works with the power we received from our citizens," he said.
